Language Center

The Slovene language center is a metal frame that features a dozen English words with their corresponding translation in Slovene. Each square has a magnetic back allowing the children to move them around. The child must correctly match the English to the Slovene.

New Exhibit on Slovenia

The Gilbert House Children’s Museum in located in Salem, Oregon.
One of our 16 exhibits is Creation Station where children can learn about other cultures through arts and crafts.
We are excited to feature Slovenia as our current country.
